maramara* taldea gives great importance to ongoing training - that is why we have gone into partnership with several companies and institutions, in order to carry out present and future strategic projects on language services.
maramara* taldea is full member of ACT (www.act.es) and member of FEGILT (www.pstraduccion.es). The objective of both associations is to channel the collaboration among translation companies and to offer the biggest possible profit (services, advantages, training, collaboration), as well as guaranteeing a quality service.
ISO 9001:2008 (quality management) and UNE 15038 (specific for translation companies) standards are necessary for becoming a member of these associations. Through ACT, industry sectors have stated the need of working with translation companies owning the standards that guarantee excellence and quality in management.
All the employees in maramara* taldea receive ongoing training, according to the agreement reached by FEGILT and Tripartita Foundation.
Other advantages for member companies is a civil liability insurance at excellent price, so that clients have all the guarantees.

In the technology field
Star Transit
We are creating the Basque version of the Transit memory programme (www.star-spain.com/es/tecnologia/transit.php).
AutomaticTrans
We are collaborating with Automatictrans (www.automatictrans.es), so that its automatic translator includes Spanish-Basque language combination.
Zirano
Zirano (http://www.zirano.com) is creating a conceptual automatic translator for minority languages and maramara* taldea is taking part in the projects linked to Basque.
Strategic clients
Zinea Sortzen
This company will be in charge of the Zinealdea audio-visual area (www.zinealdea.com), which is being built in the town of Oiartzun (www.zinea.eu). It has signed a collaboration agreement with maramara* taldea, so that our team fulfills all its language needs.
